The Young Professional

What I find impressive about this Young Professional is that hard work seems to come naturally for her. I may be wrong but c’mon, how else can so much success be achieved by the age of 22 unless a lot of hard-work and sacrifice wasn’t applied on a daily basis? Even more impressive is that this is just the beginning for her and who knows, in a few years she may become a household name. So watch out!

Originally from Fremont CA, Nicki Sun currently reps the Bay Area, and like all Bay Area folks they rep it like there’s no other place like it. Having been a tomboy early on and probably still at heart, she grew up with two bro’s that heavily influenced her a great deal. I mean spy kits, building forts, and Starcraft??? One thing’s for sure; this girl shed her tomboyish nature and has blossomed into a full blown walking talent that WILL go on to achieve many great things. Trust me when I say this guys, this girl has not only the passion to succeed, but also has the right mind set to succeed.

She began her career at a time when most people are too busy having fun and just enjoying the college experience. While attending UC Davis, she helped run Aggie TV and took it from a very small campus production to a CNN collaborated TV station. I’m sure she didn’t do it all by herself but her tireless efforts, passion and vision put Aggie TV on the map. When not interviewing artists or covering events, she spends her time championing causes such as raising awareness for human trafficking as well as doing PSAs for a National Bone Marrow Ad. This former Home Coming Queen turned Senior Class President has many ambitions but her family and friends always take precedent over her work. I saw a Facebook post on her wall a few weeks back that pretty much said that she had to let go of an opportunity to interview B.O.B and a few others just to spend time with her family in Chicago. How many young and driven individuals could make a tough decision like that? When you see her stats on paper it is pretty darn impressive and admirable, but after spending a good 40 minutes or so on the phone with her, I could see why this girl was for real. We talked about various projects and her passion for what she does, but we spent a good majority of the time talking about how motivating others was so very important. Nicki is now a new friend of mine and The Stink will always support her in all her future endeavors. Read her story, check out her websites and get to know this girl. She’s 100% authentic to the core!
